Solar Energy Scholarships Announced

Congratulations to UC Merced graduate students Kevin Balkoski and Uday Bali, recipients of the inaugural Dan David Scholarship for Solar Energy Research. This scholarship was established when National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Principal Scientist Sarah Kurtz donated her portion of the prestigious Dan David Prize to UC Merced. The recipients were announced at a symposium awards dinner sponsored by the Dan David Foundation and the UC Merced Energy Research Institute (UCMERI).
