Academic:  I am still affilated with the Hebrew University (as a freelance researcher) and continue to do research in several projects mostly in the field of petrographic analysis and interpretation of pottery and ceramic objects from the Neolithic through to the Ottoman periods.

In addition I am involved now in the publication of the site of Tell Jemmeh, The Smithsonian Institution excavations (Gus Van Beek, 1970-1984); this is a 3-4 year project started a year ago; the site has rich finds from the Middle Bronze, Late Bronze, Iron Age and Persian periods.

I am also involved on a smaller scale in the publication of the Tel  Miqne-Ekron excavations (various categories of small finds), affiliated with the Albright Institute for Archaeological Research.
