Young Israeli students to participate in the
Dan David Prize
“Name Your Hero” Writing Workshop

Each year the Dan David Prize, in conjunction with the Israel Ministry of Education and the Dov Lautman Unit for Science Oriented Youth at Tel Aviv University organizes the "Name Your Hero" Essay Competition for High School Youth throughout Israel. Students are encouraged present their choice of candidate.
100 high school students who submitted the most interesting ideas about individuals they deem worthy of the Prize are invited to participate in a one-day writing workshop at Tel Aviv University.
The essay winners will be announced in April 2017 and prizes will be awarded at a special ceremony in May 2017.
